The Year in Review: Looking Back at eCommerce in 2026
As 2026 draws to a close, we bring together industry leaders to reflect on what has been a testing year in eCommerce. As well as the unprecedented challenges that arose from the conflict in the region since March, we will also explore the trends, technologies and consumer behaviours that have shaped the year in eCommerce in the Middle East.
Touching back on earlier topics we have discussed, the panel will look at the accelerating influence of AI, the evolution of retail media and the continued growth of social commerce and quick commerce. Which trends delivered on their promise, which fell short of expectations, and what surprised us along the way in 2026.
In a candid discussion spanning brands, retailers, agencies, logistics and technology providers, we will revisit the year’s defining moments, share lessons learned and explore the opportunities and challenges that will shape the regional eCommerce landscape in 2027.
